When I first started to ride The Kitchen Skatepark there were big name riders going there. But there were also local riders throwing insane tricks and some even topped the superstar pros. Ben Eylander was one that topped the pros with doing double back flips, 540 flairs and many other top notch tricks. From doing all these tricks he still had his moments of failure such as braking his back on a double back flip then 9 months later stomping one on the last booter, trying a 360 double backflip… that did end that well. One thing that Ben didn’t do was let the tricks get the best of him and thats what I aspire towards and what I hope you reading this do to.

What was your favorite part of doing shows? The riding depending where we are booked, if it’s for the right person

When you did your first show were you nervous or if you do a show now do you? I was not nervous and my first show was in West Bend, Wisconsin. I get a little nervous if I don’t warm up or haven’t ridden in a while and depending on who the show is for.

When you go to ride do you have a idea for new tricks or just go there and whatever comes to you, you try? I get ideas by watching edits and thinking of them on my own some times other tricks work out a lot better than others for sure.

What are your winter plans for BMX? Not too many plans, I had to get a big boy job so I’m not too sure yet.

What is your biggest accomplishment in BMX so far? Being able to pull some of the biggest tricks in bmx and a double flipping a spine resi.

What is the biggest problem in BMX that you have noticed? How do you resolve that problem? Biggest problem is that young riders will ride for any amounts of money , even if they are being taken advantage of, I really hate seeing that .

Who is your favorite rider? Why? Favorite riders to watch would be Logan Martin.  Mark Webb , Scotty Cranmer and Kyle Baldock, Harry Main and Brock Horneman.

What is your favorite place to ride? The kitchen and Woodward.

What is the dream place to ride? Heaven .

Are you sponsored and if so by who? Yes, by standard byke co , albes bmx mail order and division bmx show team.
